Drug-Free South visits Lebanon Citizen Police Academy

Our regional coordinator visited the Lebanon Police Department’s Citizens Academy. The Officer in charge was very welcoming and spoke highly of the program. He helped arrange to show videos to the class from the website drugfreeworld.org.

Several people in the class were surprised to learn about the damage drugs can do, and how they can stay in the body and affect a person years after they are taken. We left some more materials with the Officer, as he had been using the ones we gave him before.
