Cannon County Schools

May 7, 2010 | Filed under: Cannon and tagged with: cannon, county, drug-free, drugs, seminar, truth

From January to May of 2010, we gave 10 seminars to 745 students in 6 schools on The Truth About Drugs. We distributed nearly 1,000 booklets during this time, as the children wanted to disseminate the information to their friends and families. One of the schools had an alternative class for those students who were involved with drugs already or who were prone to take drugs. We were told, “this is a rough crowd,” but when we got there and began the seminar, these students were very interested and respected our message. They even requested a half an hour extra for the seminar so we could continue the dialogue!
