NASHVILLE: A one-month investigation into the large scale distribution of crystal meth in the Nashville area has resulted in the arrests of two men on drug conspiracy charges and the seizure of more than eight pounds of meth.

Metro Police detectives and Drug Enforcement Administration agents allege that a 21-year-old Texas man was supplying large amounts of crystal meth to a 22-year-old man in Franklin, Tennessee. These two men went to a parking lot in Hermitage and were arrested. They were planning to sell meth that had been hidden inside a spare tire.

They are now jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond each.
